The target group is children up to 18 years old with permanent disabilities caused by congenital/acquired diseases and injuries to the central nervous system, developmental disabilities, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

We in the Regional habilitation services are now seeking a Pediatrician/Child Neurologist to join our team where collaboration and specialist competence are central parts.

The habilitation clinic focuses on individuals with permanent disabilities caused by congenital/acquired diseases and injuries to the central nervous system, developmental disabilities, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Through our efforts, we aim to reduce the difficulties that disabilities may cause in daily life, create conditions for a good life, and promote participation in society. The clinic consists of approximately 100 employees and offers a stimulating work environment.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-06-01. Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime, and you will receive an introduction with the support of a mentor to facilitate your start with us. The workplace is located in Sundsvall.

Pediatrician/Child Neurologist for Regional habilitation services, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

In our work, we start from each individual's unique needs and conditions and have specialist knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development. The work is done in teams where staff with medical, educational, psychological, and social competence collaborate.

In the role of child neurologist/pediatrician, you will have patient responsibility, which means being responsible for medical investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients. You will work in a team with, among others, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, and medical secretaries.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician with specialist competence in pediatrics (child medicine)
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you

• Are a licensed physician with specialist competence in child neurology
